      Alexander Muir Gardens

      Guild Inn Gardens

      A waterfront park and woodland area west of Guild Inn contains a mature forest and pleasant walking trails, historic stone sculptures and arches. The interesting attractions are popular for wedding photography.

      Humber Arboretum

      There are a variety of gardens, including ponds, forests, waterfalls, mature trees, wooden walkways, bridges and stone paths. Discover our mature Rhododendrons that bloom profusely in Spring, our colourful annual and perennial gardens, rose gardens, and ornamental grass gardens.

      Humber Bridge, Etobicoke

      James Gardens

      Located in the Toronto district of Etobicoke, this four hectare park is very formal. The ponds here are fed by a spring and are crossed over by rustic bridges. The colourful flower gardens add to the visual appeal of the park.

      Kensignton Market
      Located just to the west of downtown Toronto, bordered by Spadina Avenue, Dundas Street, Bathurst Street and College Street.
      A distinctive multicultural neighbourhood in downtown Toronto. 

      Kew Gardens

      Leslie Spit
      The Spit is open year-round every weekend, 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. from April – October and 9:00 – 4:30 p.m. from November to March. Park on Union or Leslie.
      The park is located on a man-made peninsula, known as the Leslie Street Spit, which extends five km into Lake Ontario and is over 500 hectares in size.

      Nathan Philllips Square
      A lively public gathering place located immediately in front of Toronto City Hall, on the northwest corner of Queen and Bay Streets.

      North York Rose Garden

      Historic building, with colourful manicured gardens, cobblestone pathways and ornate iron fencing. Wedding photographs may be taken outside the building. 

      Parks/Gardens Mississauga 

      Mississauga has many beautiful park settings available for your professional photography and wedding ceremony needs (for Mississauga residents only)

      Adamson Estate

      Adamson Estate is a 13.33 acre waterfront park and is located east of the mouth of the Credit River. 

      Benares Historic House

      Bradley Museum
      1620 Orr Road, Mississauga

      Photography can be take outside in the gardens or inside the historic interiors.

      Brueckner Rhododendron Gardens
      660 Lakeshore Rd. West, Mississauga
      The City recently renamed Rhododendron Gardens to Brueckner Rhododendron Garden in acknowledgement of the Dr. Joseph Brueckner’s generous donation of hundreds of rhododendrons and azaleas. They can be found blooming from mid May to mid June.

      Holcim Estate
      2700 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga
      Overlooking the picturesque waters of Lake Ontario and bordered by Joshua’s Creek, this enchanting mansion on the waterfront is the City’s newest event venue. Rich with history and charm, Holcim Waterfront Estate will be the ideal Mississauga location for your special occasions.

      Kariya Park
      850 Enola Ave., Mississauga
      Kariya Park was officially opened in July 1992, honouring the eleventh anniversary of our twin-city relationship with Kariya, Japan. It is a legacy to future generations, and will mature with age like its array of rhododendrons, pine, gingko and sweetgum trees, remaining a peaceful haven from the bustle of city life as Mississauga grows around it.

      Leslie Log House

      Originally built in 1826 by Robert Leslie, opened in 2011 in partnership with the Streetsville Historical Society.

      Port Credit Memorial Park Gazebo

      Port Credit Memorial park is located at the mouth of the Credit River and Lake Ontario. It has a .76km walking trail, accessible playground, multiuse ramp park, gazebo, trail connection to the waterfront trail under Lakeshore Road and is home to the Waterfront Festival and Port Credit Southside Shuffle.Adamson Estate is a 13.33 acre waterfront park and is located east of the mouth of the Credit River. 

      Queen Elizabeth Jubillee II Garden
      300 City Centre Drive, Mississauga
      No Permit Required
      The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Garden is named after the commemoration of Her Majesty, The Queen’s 50th Anniversary of Her Accession to the Throne. The garden is used extensively by the public and city staff on a regular basis and is often a favourite location for wedding photographs. The addition of the entrance and stairs opens the garden up to Mississauga’s Celebration Square.

      Located in central Mississauga with accessible trails, splendid wildlife and glorious views, Riverwood is a special place where history, nature, beauty and peace blend together to create an enjoyable and lasting outdoor experience.

      St. Lawrence Park Gazebo
      75 St. Lawrence Drive, Mississauga
      Park permits are required for wedding photography between Friday and Sunday with a fee and parking is limited to 4 cars per permit.


      The James Shaver Woodsworth Homestead

      Located in Etobicoke, City of Toronto, Applewood or Shaver House, as it is commonly known, provides a lovely setting for marriage ceremonies, parties and meetings. It has been in operation for over 30 years and is open to the public.Their services include the provision of ministers of various denominations to perform the ceremony. 

      Rosetta McClain Gardens
      5 Glen Everest Road, Toronto
      South side of Kingston Rd, east of Birchmount Rd.
      Recognized for its accessible design the formal Gardens features a central water fountain.

      Royal Botanical Gardens
      680 Plains Rd. W.Burlington

      Colourful array of blooms is a beautiful backdrop to your wedding photos. 

      Scarborough Bluffs
      Bluffs stretch for about 15 km along the Lake Ontario shore, from the Eastern Beaches of Toronto in the west, to East Point Park in the east. The Scarborough Bluffs are a significant geological feature resulting from the accumulation of sedimentary deposits over 12,000 years ago. They were formed by the natural processes of wind and water erosion from Lake Ontario.

      St James Park

      Beside the beautiful St. James’ Cathedral, St. James’ Park features one of Toronto’s nicest gardens. Kept meticulously clean by the Toronto Garden Society, every time I visit I’m amazed how it’s changed from the previous time. The garden is always planted with fresh flowers, always immaculately cared for no matter the season. There are several benches to catch some afternoon sun, some sculptures, a fountain and a large gazebo with often holds outdoor concerts. It’s a great 19th century style garden oasis, and a highly recommended photo place (I actually just recommended it to friends who are getting married nearby next fall).

      Ferries to the Toronto Island leave from the Ferrydocks at 9 Queens Quay West, located south of Queens Quay between Yonge Street and Bay Street. Please check ferry schedules ahead of time as departures vary throughout the seasons.
